Narrative responsibility and artificial intelligence

Abstract Most accounts of responsibility focus on one type responsibility, moral or address particular aspect such as agency. This article outlines a broader framework to think about that includes causal relational and what I call “narrative responsibility” form “hermeneutic responsibility”, connects these notions with different kinds knowledge, disciplines, perspectives human being, shows how this is helpful for mapping analysing artificial intelligence (AI) challenges sense-making in various ways.
